She has recently been appointed Honorary Professor of Addiction Psychiatry at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

Paul McArdle

Dr Paul McArdle is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist and the lead clinician for a regional in patient unit for children and young people with mental health problems. For the past ten years he has worked with a community based service for adolescent substance misusers that comprises staff from the NHS, the voluntary sector and local authority. He initiated and chairs a committee of psychiatrists working with young substance misusers.
