For figure creation, please provide a detailed explanation of what you are aiming to present in the figure. If there are multiple components to the figure/illustration, each part may be considered an individual figure.

Figure formatting will involve the team editing a pre-existing figure, ensuring it is presented optimally and correcting spelling errors and awkward phrasing. Figures should be provided in a format that can be easily edited such as PPT, Word, or PDF as long as the text is real text rather than an image. In some instances we may be able to recreate the figure, in which case we may ask for the source data.

Graphical abstracts are designed to capture the content of the article for readers at a single glance. A member of our experienced production team can produce a graphical abstract for your manuscript.
