Peter Baxter
Dr Peter Baxter is Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at the University of Sheffield.
His research interests include pyridoxine-dependent seizures, management of neuromuscular conditions and ataxia. Previous studies have included aspects of microcephaly, hydrocephalus and raised intracranial pressure, and mitochondrial disorders.
Dr Baxter is an examiner for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He is currently the Immediate Past President of the British Paediatric Neurology Association; Secretary of the European Paediatric Neurology Society; past Editor-in-Chief of the medical journal Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology, and a member of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation.
